Cluwing tool

(Be careful with gluing, glue emits harmful fumes. So ventilate well and wear respiratory protection. It can also get quite messy with glue residue. So it’s best to work with old work clothes and, for example, above your cutting mat.)

Now that you’ve cut everything out, you’re finally ready to start building.

There are several “gluing” methods.

You can use so-called shoemaker’s glue.

  • Compound glue
  • Flexible glue
  • Hot Clue

I personally prefer working with Hot Clue.

The advantages are that your whole house doesn’t smell afterward while you’re working. It allows for good distribution of small parts. And it dries quickly, so you can continue quickly. It also remains fairly flexible. Downside… it gets very hot! So be careful removing glue residue and with your fingers.

Definitely don’t make the mistake of wearing latex gloves with Hot Clue.
