Everything starts on paper.
You can get your templates in two ways:
As a PDF, ready to print and not resizable. Or with Pepakura, where you can create a custom template.
You often have pieces that are larger than the paper itself. In that case, it’s important to glue the pieces together seamlessly before cutting them out.

Make sure you don’t mix everything together. For example, if you’ve cut out the legs and torso, keep them separate. This way, you don’t get confused with the parts.
Once you’ve traced the parts onto your foam, keep your paper until you’ve finished the piece. If you miss something or cut it out incorrectly, you can always retrieve it from the cut-out paper.
